Major Relic of St. Francis Xavier visit January 13, 2018

Worthy Brothers
To all the Knights that were willing and able to attend this all-day event THANK YOU.
Without you help and support we would not have been able to assist the Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) in this significant event in Mississauga and Canada.
CCO are organizing the Canadian Tour of the relic. They prepared and produced all the booklets, prayer cards, intension cards, 3rd class relic (medallions) and the pens. The parish with the help of the CWL, BLD, Friends of Goa, the CCO Students from Ottawa and the parish office did everything else.

This was a true parish event.

Thanks to our Knights who spent 18 hours at the church organizing and ushering and to the Knight who were able to usher for 2-3 hours, you made this day special.

I must thank our St. Andre Bassette Assembly for the 3 Honour Guards for the Masses and the 18 hour Honour Guards at the Altar for the Relic.

We recorder almost 14,000 Pilgrims venerating the Relic of our patron Saint, St. Francis Xavier.

I must personally thank my keys organizers, SK Steven Harvey who was in charge of the Security of the Relic at the church, SK Kelvin Netto Deputy Grand Knight who organized the Ushers and SK Joseph Remedios Faithful Navigator for the support of St. Andre Bassette Assembly.

We will recognize all our Brother Knights that attended and ushered at the Council General Meeting on Monday 15 January 2018.

We should all feel proud of the work that we performed for the church, our faith and our patron saint, Thank you.

Regards
Vivat Jesus

Banns for Ordination

Bro. Anthony Wong is to be ordained to the Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Toronto on May 26, 2018, at St. Michael’s Cathedral.

Please remember him in your prayers.

Canon Law obliges Catholics to reveal any impediment to sacred orders to the bishop or pastor.
