Fraternal Activity Night – “Unity” - Belated posting

On Friday, January 24^th Council #12067 held our second Fraternal Activity Night (FAN) with a theme around “Unity”. We had 72 brothers who came out for some good old fun. Everyone warmed up to the music of Brothers Alan and Walter and their gang of Friday night jammers. After a few warm up stretches, the gang of merry men got even more relaxed dancing to the chicken dance.

During the evening, a few brothers shared their business services and products which turned out to be very interesting. We received information about cruise vacations, mortgages, wood-working posts/spindles, real-estate/condos, music education/bands, project management and legal advice. We will showcase another session in the future possibly dedicated to business ventures, entrepreneurship and mentoring on how to get started with your own business.

After dinner the games begun, brothers played ping-pong, Texas-holdem, participated in a horse race and enjoyed an evening of fraternity.

Thanks to the committee comprising of brothers, PGK Gabriel, Rudolph, Mario, Alvin, Pepito, Hilary, Alan, Victor, Trevorlyn and working behind the scenes Joseph D.

Thanks to Bro. Vivian’s wife Florence who prepared us a scrumptious roast beef dinner!

The Blood Donor Clinic event at the church hall was indeed successful. Our grateful thanks to Brother Priyal Jayasinghe who was the lead for this event. Our thanks also go to all the Knights who assisted with the sign-up for the event over several weekends, phone calls made to blood donor registrants and making themselves present today to support Brother Priyal
