Blood Donor Clinic August 10, 2013

Dear Worthy Brother Knights

I am pleased to inform you that we have just concluded with the Blood Donor Clinic event at the church hall which was indeed successful, despite it being held in the midst of the summer vacations.

We noted that there were a number of knights from our council who kindly donated their blood, including a few first timers. Our grateful thanks to Brother Priyal Jayasinghe who was the lead for this event. Our thanks also go to all the knights who assisted with the sign-up for the event over several weekends, phone calls made to blood donor registrants and making themselves present today to support Brother Priyal. 

Our thanks also go to Msgr. Edgardo Pan, Parish Pastor for his several visits during the course of the morning. Last but not least, thank you to PGK Brother Anthony Desouza & IPGK Brother Joe Remedios for visiting & assisting with the Blood Donor clinic this morning.

 Dear Worthy Brothers, 

The Blood Donor Clinic is scheduled for August 10th 2013, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at our parish church hall.

The sign-up campaign started last weekend i.e. July 20 and will run for the next few weekends. We need volunteers to man the desks at each of the masses at the weekend (at least 2 for each mass). Please assist wholeheartedly prior to or after each mass.

Being the summer months, we are conscious of brothers being away on vacation,  which is all the more that we require your support for this important event of our council and parish.

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Canadian Blood Services blood donor clinic in the Church Hall again on Saturday, the 10th of August 2013. Members of the Knights of Columbus will be at the back of the church, after weekend Masses prior to the clinic date, to assist those who wish to sign-up to donate.
